The USDA and the Agricultural Research Service publish a monthly magazine called the Agricultural Research Magazine. This magazine is an awesome way to keep you, and your students up to date with the latest agricultural research in a variety of subjects. My EFE teacher would purchase a subscription for every student and they would pick one article every month, summarize the article, and give a short presentation to the class. I used this magazine all the time when I was competing in extemporaneous public speaking. It has great information about ever-changing technology and methods of production.
